Young Learners - 11 – 18 Years

We provide extra tuition and examination preparation support for young children from year 5 who seek to attend Grammar schools or simply raise their standards in preparation for a competitive secondary education.

Classes hold for 2 hours per session on weekday evenings and Saturdays

Package 1 –19+ ADULT PROGRAMME (Qualifications - HABC / City & Guilds)
- English and Math’s sessions
- ICT Awareness (covering use of internet and basic Microsoft office applications.
- Functional & Life Skills
Advice and Guidance on training, further education, career, employment and welfare support.

Package 2- YOUNG PEOPLE 16-18(Qualifications- HABC / City & Guilds)
- English and Math’s sessions
- ICT Awareness (covering use of internet and basic Microsoft office applications.
- Functional & Life Skills
Advice and Guidance on training, apprenticeship, further education, careers and safeguarding.

Package 3 - ALTERNATIVE PROVISION 14-16

- Functional & Life Skills
Advice and Guidance on training, apprenticeship, further education, careers and safeguarding.

3. QUALIFCATIONS
The programme offers reguated qualifications that will propel both young people and adults to seek better future in Careers, Education, Training and Employment. It will offer qualifications set out below:
- Functional Skills level …..awarded by Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance
- Functional Skills level …. Awarded by City & Guilds
- ICT Awareness
- - Zenith Professional Training is an approved Centre for both HABC and City & Guilds of which are Ofqual recognised qualification awarding bodies.

City and Guilds’ 3847
Fundamental applied skills in maths, English and ICT – with a particular focus on problem-solving and being able to apply these skills effectively in real situations.

These qualifications are intended for anyone wishing to develop their English, Mathematics or ICT skills. They can be completed alongside City & Guilds' English and Mathematics Skills (3847) and Principles of Using English and Mathematics (3844) qualifications, as well as being used to support learners' progress towards GCSE.

Functional Skills qualifications are available across five levels (Entry 1 to Level 2), and are completed in a wide range of college, community and work-based settings.

The programme is delivered by qualified English and Math’s teachers and supported by a Teaching Assistant. Class sizes will be limited to16 pupils, so individuals would receive focused learning and extra staff to be recruited by volunteer Trainee Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
The programme manager has a wealth of experience and excellent track record of over 90% pupils’ success rate.

Functional Skills
All aspects of the programme will incorporate Functional and Life Skills that are vital for young people and adults to participate in life, learning, and work. These skills will be delivered by e-online as well as in practical formats also.

3. CAREERS, EDUCATION, TRAINING, EMPLOYMENT
The following programme seeks to provide a service with clear progression routes to improve outcomes for service users, particularly attendance, grades and behavior with skills needed for employment aimed at young people.

Alongside this, we will seek to support learners with qualifications while offering a pathway to Careers, Education, Training and Employment.
